Vertical Inline Strainers can be manufactured with flanged or
quick opening closures. Generally they have 400% + open area
(based on perforated-only baskets). |

TS: Sizes from 2” to 72”, 150# to 2,500# A.N.S.I.
Tee Strainers can be straight through flow or angle flow. They
have much less basket area than a VIS and are used in areas
with less contaminant. Quick open closures are available. |
| HFYS "Y" |

Sizes from 2” to 72”, 150# to 2,500# A.N.S.I.
Fabricated “Y” Strainers have more basket area
than the TS and are less expensive than the VIS. This may
solve your special problems.
Note: May not fit in the envelope of a “cast unit”.
